Our Liquid Art metallic coating systems provide a dynamic, 3-D marble-like appearance with shimmering highlights, ideal for spaces requiring a true visual impact. To create this marbled effect, several techniques are employed by our applicators to distribute the incorporated metallic pigments. The potential designs are only confined by the creativity of the installer, ensuring every single Liquid Art floor is unique. The composition of our metallic flooring includes (a) a super thick primer layer of 100%-solids epoxy (we never use a polyurea or polyaspartic as primer), (b) a stunning metallic color coat layer, and (c) a transparent topcoat for durability. Liquid Art coating systems are high-end design flooring, perfect for basements, hallways, family rooms, office and retail spaces, where a high visual impact is desired. (However, these systems aren’t suitable for substrates exposed to vehicular traffic).
